Hello everyone, Naomi here~.
We’d like to share the FAM tour in Kyoto that we finally operated yesterday with a wonderful group from Switzerland.
Now you can book via our afficial website (https://abccooking-t.jp/japan_tour/inarisushi/). Don’t miss it out!
In the morning, a tour guide took them around Nishiki Market, where is a narrow, five block long shopping street lined by more than one hundred shops and restaurants.
Start at the deliciously vast 400-year-old Nishiki Market, nicknamed ‘Kyoto’s Kitchen,’ where over 130 shops and stalls will beckon your taste buds.
Stroll through the Market and learn about its history and taste the sample snacks.
Normally the people spend 30 min in this market. But we will take about 1.5 hours to see and learn more deeply information. (About seasonal vegetables, fruits, our kitchen tools, what is sake, etc..)
What makes this tour even more special is a 1.5-hour cooking class making Western Japanese style local dishes such as Inari sushi, miso soup, egg omelette, and marinated vegetable.
During the lesson, you will learn homemade, traditional technique of Japanese cooking.
In this lesson, you will learn how to extract “Dashi” broth which is fundamental for Japanese dishes especially for Western area of Japan.
At the end of the tour, you’ll enjoy your creation. Then finish your experience with some nice gift to take bask home!
This tour is now available on weekday (except every Tuesday) onto here : https://abccooking-t.jp/japan_tour/inarisushi/
If anyone gets tired of “normal travel” in Kyoto, you’re super welcome to this experience!
Thank you 🙂
